Apprentice & Vacation
AES Equipment Solutions offers a strong development and apprenticeship scheme, currently employing over 30 apprentices in mining fields such as mechanical, auto electrical, boilermaking-fabrication and equipment painting.
AES Equipment Solution’s apprentices receive the best in technical and vocational training, under the guidance of experienced, qualified mining technicians. Their on-the-job training is supplemented by recognised tertiary training and we arrange work schedules to meet the requirements of external training.
We source our apprentices from various areas, principally trade-oriented TAFE and other training institutions. We encourage mature-age apprentices and in particular people with industry mining experience who are looking to take on a more skilled role.
We welcome expressions of interest from prospective apprentices, to submit your interest in becoming an AES apprentice, please fill in the form below.
AES Equipment Solutions offers students from University, TAFE and secondary school an opportunity to receive hands on, practical experience in a controlled real life workshop. During the program, trainees are mentored by experienced mining professional trainers and human resources personnel.
Work experience placements take place over a one-week period and are predominantly Monday to Friday.
