Formally Action Mining Services, we are now AES Equipment Solutions. We are committed to providing our customers with a superior experience, a broader range of flexible equipment solutions and importantly all at an affordable price.

We recognise the relentless global and competitive pressures that not only challenge but also threaten us. As of Monday 8 September 2014 we rebranded, restructured, downsized and met the market by reducing our labour rates. We continue to invest in organising our facilities to meet business need and improve output quality. Almost all our employees are currently undergoing training in lean practices and driving cultural change to remove waste from processes to ensure we deliver to you in full, on time, at the right price and on budget.

We revisited our Strategy, Vision, Core Values and Business Model and have put our customers’ voice at the heart of it to ensure relevancy. As we move forward, we will engage more regularly with customers to shape our future. This will help us ensure we deliver your needs at the right price. Our Brand

Our new brand will come to define us. It is derived from the evolution of Action Mining Services, a mining centric service provider, who is diversifying into other market exposures and expanding its product offerings to become a well-rounded equipment solutions provider.

Our Expanded Products

We continue to provide the full range of products and services that you are accustomed to receiving today. That offering is being expanded to include low hour near new equipment resale – from sourcing to disposal services. We are not brand aligned and offer flexibility to meet your needs. We also provide rental purchase solutions to customers who require access to productive equipment today but want to buy it sometime in the future. By expanding our equipment solution offering, being flexible and delivering valued services, we aim to be the preferred business partner for all your equipment needs.

New Service Module

The Viper, Action Mining Service’s (AMS) revolutionary service module, was launched on Friday 30th May 2013 at the AMS workshop. The Viper 15,000 will forever change customer expectations of a service module’s safety and flexibility. The Viper’s new modular system gives customers the flexibility to exchange modules as quickly as demand changes.

General Manager at AMS, Rob Poggioli, said that moving the Viper to a new site with specific lubrication needs is no longer an issue.

“The Viper is designed for customer’s to simply change the modules to suit their specific requirements. If a module is damaged in use, our customers can very simply replace it with minimal down time and cost. Safety is the Viper’s priority and it is fitted with standard controls to ensure each user’s safety, something a service module was not previously able to do.” Rob said.

The event was attended by a number of clients, suppliers and media. The guests were treated to a full demonstration of the Viper’s most sought-after functions and tours of the AMS workshop.
