Alex Cooper
Business Manager
Alex began his 35 year career as a heavy duty mechanic for Wigmore Tractors and later WesTrac. His impressive progression in both surface and underground mining includes Rio Tinto as Maintenance Supervisor, Monadelphous as Maintenance Manager and Macmahon as Workshop Manager.
Alex is responsible for coordinating all AES Equipment Solution’s activities, to ensure we deliver a level of service that meets our clients expectations as well as the AES business objectives. Alex achieves this through a belief that our people are our best asset and by placing an emphasis on vision, positive leadership, team training and a strong business acumen.
Steve Hall
Business Development Manager
Steve brings to AES a strong background in customer relationship management, operations management, organisational change and sales in both Australia and the United Kingdom.
Steve commenced his first Management Role in 1999, and over the years has worked in sectors such as equipment hire, waste disposal/recycling companies, accident repair centres and vehicle sales. Steve has over 20 years of experience of leading teams in growth environments to deliver optimal results in terms of outright performance, overall revenue and profitability while ensuring maximum value for all stakeholders.
Jason Paparone
Workshop Manager
Jason comes from a strong mechanical and management background. He commenced his impressive career as an Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanic with Monadelphous and has since progressed to Leading Hand, Workshop Supervisor and Site Maintenance Superintendent.
In a later position, Jason worked for Macmahon, where he managed six underground projects. Since this position, Jason held a position at Carey Mining as a Site Maintenance Manager. Jason is responsible for leading the Mechanical, Electrical, Fabrication, Blasting and Painting and Quarantine Departments.
